My work MEMENTO focuses on the relationship between memory and technology, sparked by the accidental viewing of the image of my late grandmother on google maps.

I extracted street view images from Google Maps and put them into AI software to generate new images using incomplete memory fragments. Google Map's Street Views are images without temperature. But I will implant my own personal feelings. My memories of my grandparents are slowly fading, but technology helps me to keep the memories of that time alive. Through this work, I am trying to express the relationship between memory, time and space.



我的作品MEMENTO关注的是记忆与技术之间的关系，由在谷歌地图上意外看到已故祖母的图像而引发。

我从谷歌地图中截取了街景图像，并将其放入人工智能软件，利用不完整的记忆片段生成新的图像后制作成了灯箱。谷歌街景图是非常客观的。但是当我看到那些熟悉的景象时，会植入自己的个人情感，就像我看到2016年的奶奶站在树下的身影。我对于我爷爷奶奶的记忆正在慢慢变模糊，但是在地图中里面却能一直保存着当时的图像。所以我就想探讨这种科技这种第三持存存储记忆，以及记忆与时间空间之间的联系。
